Musical Instrument Museum on Kremsegg Castle
The Musical Instrument Museum on Kremsegg Castle is recognized as a worldwide hub for brass instruments from virtually all cultures and historical periods. This extensive brass musical instrument collection has no rival. Special items on display range from the Russian Tsar’s French horn over the Jazz trumpets of Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie to most innovative instruments. Kremsegg Castle is one of Upper Austria’s most prestigious museums. Many concerts are organized throughout the year. Each year at Whitsun, the Museum arranges the highly acclaimed Gulda Days“. And in August, the „Cultour – Music Summer“ brings renowned international musicians to Kremsegg.
With holiday lights illuminating the Castle, Kremsegg is a gift for visitors of all ages on the second weekend during Advent Season. The atmospheric Advent Market offers guests the unique opportunity to experience the castle adorned in holiday finery.
