Hypertension

Treatment of hypertension is one of the biggest challenges for heart specialists.

As some 25% of the western population suffer from symptom-free hypertension and lifelong medicamentous therapy is expensive and has also life-quality-reducing side-effects, early diagnosis and onset of treatment is essential.
Many parameters have to be considered in the individual treatment of hypertension. The iodine brine treatments offered in Bad Hall have – without the use of medication - lasting positive effects on blood pressure and the circulatory system. Moreover the Paracelsus Institute has state-of-the-art equipment for detecting and treating all risk factors and parameters of hypertension (ultrasound examinations, measurement of the thickness of vascular walls, pulse and blood pressure analysis over time with a sphygmograph, longtime blood pressure recordings, long-term blood pressure recordings, specific laboratory tests). All treatments are individually selected with the patient and based on the testing results. It is not the absolute height of the blood pressure, but the sum of the risk factors that is decisive for successfully treating hypertension.
