Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration affects the central part of the retina; it is the most common cause for reading disabilities.

Because of increasing life expectancy especially age-related macular degeneration (retinal calcification, impaired blood supply) is on the rise and has become a central challenge for ophthalmology.

The eye treatments offered in Bad Hall have circulation-enhancing, antioxidant and stress-reducing effects and are an important contribution to preserving the eyesight as long as possible, also for sufferers of macular degeneration.
