Cataract

This is the most prevalent eye disease – it generally develops after the age of 50, but it can also be congenital.

First symptom is a clouded vision (fog) and sensitiveness to light (especially when driving at night). Other symptoms are a bad color vision and a defective vision while reading.
Progressed cataracts cannot be improved by new glasses but need to be surgically removed.

Spa treatments in Bad Hall at an early stage of the disease can slow down the course of the disease.
